Users can select from four velocity curves (including a fixed level), so each player can adjust the K61P to his or her own individual playing style.Octave shift keys provide access to full range of notes Though the Korg K61P has only 61 keys (a grand piano has 88), a special octave shift function lets users quickly access the entire range of notes from the lowest bass to the highest treble notes. The goal here was to create a lightweight, full-featured controller that's easy enough to carry with you wherever you go. The five-octave keyboard allowed Korg to accomplish this goal without sacrificing any features.
